The Chirpyest: Bianca’s Book Reviews

by chirpyest

Book reviews galore – Bianca the Marketing Assistant here at Chirpyest has been a book worm this past year. With TikTok being my main source of influence, I have been on a reading kick. Today I am reviewing infamous reads I found on “booktok” and sharing my thoughts and ratings. While romance is my main genre, I do enjoy a good thriller here and there as well. Archer’s Voice – Mia Sheridan

A small town romance that will pull at your heart strings. Archer’s voice is about two people who have both lost a great deal but find peace and comfort with each other. You may want to break out the tissue box for this one. A heartfelt romance filled with tragedy and heroism, this book I rate a 4.5 out of 5.

Behind Closed Doors – B.A. Paris

What is truly behind closed doors of a perfect couple who never leaves each others sides? Jack and Grace Angel are the epitome of a perfect couple – a lovely house and gracious dinner hosts. But while happy and content on the outside, Grace is never seen without Jack by her side even when out to lunch with friends. She doesn’t have a mobile of her own or a job. This read constantly has twists and turns which I rate a 4 out of 5.

Confess – Colleen Hoover

A more underrated book in Colleen Hoover’s collection if you ask me. Without giving too much away, the main character Auburn is trying to rebuild her life from a shattered past at such a young age. Along the way she falls for Owen who is keeping secrets of his own. This book will keep you on your toes wondering what is his confession? This easy and full circle read gets a 5 out of 5 from me.

Redeemed (Dirty Air Series) – Lauren Asher

The 4th book of the dirty air series which is set in the Formula 1 world. Santiago Alatorre is a hot shot F1 driver who had a major accident causing him to step back from driving while at the top of his game. He meets Chloe at his lowest point (who has no idea who he is). In this spicy romance, can Chloe help Santiago get back to what he loves all while trying to put the puzzle pieces of her life together? Overall I rate this book out of the series my favorite with a 4.5 out of 5.

Things We Never Got Over – Lucy Score

If you like a small town romance mixed with a little bit of dramatic danger than you are going to love this one. Naomi is a runaway bride who fled to a small town when her twin sister called for help – only to be left with a niece she never knew existed. While navigating the mess her sister left she falls in love with a grumpy local who may bring her more harm than good. This dramatic yet heartfelt read I give a solid 5 out of 5.

Verity – Colleen Hoover

This read definitely lives up to the hype. Lowen is an author who is finishing up a book series for Verity as she has been in an accident that prevents her from writing. While at her house, Lowen finds an intriguing yet disturbing manuscript written by Verity. This book is full of twists and turns that will leave you speechless at the end and maybe even a bit frightened. This deserves a 5 out of 5.
