Fragrances are one way to help boost your confidence. When we find a scent we like that makes us feel more confident, we tend to stick with that one. Choosing a fragrance is a very personal decision. We all have our own preferences. Some of us like to stick with the same perfume year-round. Others may like their fragrances to be more seasonal, one (or a couple) for each season. It all depends on what we like for ourselves and how much we’re willing to spend on perfumes. Here we’ve gathered a list of fragrances we think would help elevate your scent game, and make you feel more confident in how you present yourself. These are all sold at big retailers like Sephora, Nordstrom, Macys, and Bloomingdale’s so feel free to go smell them in person before purchasing.

Our fragrances picks
Floral scents
This perfume is one of Sephora’s best sellers for a reason. It has a warm floral scent, almost like it smells sweet. The key notes in this fragrance are blackcurrant, jasmine grandiflorum, and bourbon vanilla.
Dior’s fragrance line consists of multiple best-sellers, for men and women. This Dior J’adore fragrance is another floral and flowery-scented perfume. Its keynotes are ylang-ylang, Damascus rose, and jasmine.
This fragrance by Kayali is a layerable, unisex scent. This has a more fruity floral scent to it that’s great for those who love fruity sweet scents. The keynotes to this fragrance are juicy red apple, wild berries, and jasmine. The scents of this perfume are meant to reflect a fun, tempting, and fliratious side of a person. It is also very delicious smelling.
Warm and spicy scents
TOM FORD’s fragrance line has become very popular. With their unique and elegant-looking bottles to the scents, it’s no wonder everyone has been hopping on the TOM FORD train. This scent is a newer launch of theirs. This fragrance is unisex and has a layerable scent. It is in the warm and spicy scent family. That definitely matches the vibe of a fragrance called “Vanilla Sex”. Even if the scent isn’t your cup of tea, the name itself intrigues you to check it out and the rest of the TOM FORD fragrances.
YSL’s Black Opium perfume is another one of Sephora’s best sellers. In fact, it may be a best seller in other big retail stores as well. This perfume is in the warm and spicy scent family. It has a warm and sweet type of smell. The keynotes in this perfume are black coffee, white flowers, and vanilla. If you’re looking for a perfume that smells seductive, this is the one for you.
Fresh scents
The REPLICA fragrance line by Maison Margiela is a little more of a niche pick in the fragrance world. Yes, it is still very popular, but it’s not at the same level of hype as Dior or Chanel. But then again, it is pretty hard to reach that level of popularity. This REPLICA fragrance is unisex, as are their other fragrances. This one in particular is part of the fresh-scented family. The keynotes are bergamot, heliotrope, and coconut milk. This fresh, unisex perfume was inspired by a stroll along the ocean and sunny summer days. It’s a perfect reach for the summer, or if you live in an area where winter just doesn’t exist.
This is another perfume that is part of the fresh family. The Acqua di Gioia perfume has a fresh citrus and fruits smell. So, this one may be a bit on the sweeter side. Its keynotes are citrus, damascena rose, and cedarwood.
