Danii Jay
Q&A with Dani:
In Honor of African American Heritage Month, what influential person has inspired you?
“Issa Rae has inspired me! She‚Äôs an inspiration because she shows up as her full self. She puts in the work and see‚Äôs results. She kept the faith from her humble beginnings, and also makes room for others to also succeed – and you can tell she really wants her black people to win! To me that‚Äôs inspiring, especially being in my humble beginnings. It‚Äôs a reminder to keep the faith and to keep going but also make sure I‚Äôm making space for others and helping/encouraging them along the way. She‚Äôs overall an inspiration to the black community especially for people who are creators. Seeing her successes and her wins makes you believe you can do it too.”
